I got permission at BOTH jobs to wear my costume to work today. The sword stayed home for obvious reasons. I filled my trophy head with candy.
Shortly before today, a friend had a birthday party and requested that we come in costume. Totally by coincidence, one of the other guests came as Galadriel. (Finrod is Galadriel’s brother.) So we had fun with some pictures.

Usually my enthusiasm for pumpkin-carving outstrips my skill, but this year I more or less got them to align by carving the minions from Despicable Me. I set them out toilet-papering our bush along with some “crown jewels”, a “unicorn toy”, and a slinkie.
